Owner Stephanie Swicker creates an inviting environment for you to leisurely browse or get creative. In store, you’ll find gorgeous home décor ready to go or if you’re more creative, you can discuss a custom idea, or create your own items.
U-We Gifts offers custom candle scents, hand crafted wooden signs and boxes, and other various home décor items not to mention the recent addition of Magnolia Threads.
Magnolia Threads focuses on business casual workwear-to-weekend styles. You can find fall sweaters, jeans, pencil skirts, slacks, blazers, dresses, etc. Magnolia Threads is owned by Hanna Wingfield who saw a need in Durant for women’s workwear and stepped up with a style that is uniquely her own. Magnolia Threads is on trend for the modern professional woman. “Classy, casual, and comfortable” is how she would describe her style. Hanna loves simplicity and multifunctional pieces. Take the new 4-in-1 vegan leather handbag for example. It transitions from clutch, to wristlet, to crossbody, or even fanny pack (if you’re up for that).
If you show up wanting a custom gift for that hard-to-buy-for person, you’re in the right spot. U-We Gifts does personalized engraving and burning on a variety of items including plaques, spoons, flasks, tumblers and more. A shop favorite at Christmastime is a cheeseboard engraved with a loved one’s recipe. For another favorite custom item, stop by and let Stephanie take your child’s drawing and etch it into a wooden plaque preserving that memory for a lifetime.
U-We Gifts also offers on-site creating for individuals or groups up to a dozen or more people. You can bring your child to join a Kid’s Club activity which could be anything from making bath bombs to slime. You can join a group activity or schedule a time of your own. If your child is an Epic Charter School student, U-We Gifts is an approved vendor so you can take advantage of that. Or you can grab a girlfriend and show up to create your own custom candle scent, succulent arrangement, or terrarium. You are welcome to bring in your own container or find the perfect one in store. And no worries when your favorite candle burns out, just jot down the scents you blended in the store notebook and bring back the container to refill it.
U-We Gifts just completed a renovation of the store and continues to add new items. Cozy pajamas are among the new additions and many other brand new collections are coming soon. Or join U-We Gifts for First Friday every first Friday of the month. Downtown events include a monthly theme, special offers, seasonal food/drinks, live music, etc. from 5-8pm.
