They've got you covered with things like gourmet coffee grounds, soap infused sponges, custom jewelry, and even baby shower gifts.
Iron Horse Gallery and Gifts is just as adorable as the ladies who created it. Retired teachers, Janie Umsted, Carla Rainbolt, Barbara Rackley, and Fran Mickle, brought their friendship and talents, along with an innovative idea, together to create a combined art gallery and gift shop. Traditional art galleries consist of walls of paintings. It's up to an individual to imagine a piece of art in their home. Not everyone has the ability to visualize like that, so these ladies created a space to help!
How about a one-of-a-kind piece of art? Professional artist, Janie Umsted, houses her studio in the back of the shop and displays her pieces in the gallery. She is known for her Native American art and love of horses!
There is so much interesting history behind this shop and its owners. The building itself has housed many different operations ranging from county jail to college hangout. If you remember any of its previous lives, you should come see how it comes to life as Iron Horse Gallery and Gifts. The industrial vibe, combined with the Native American art and comforts of home, makes it truly special.
