Retired teachers, Janie Umsted, Carla Rainbolt, Barbara Rackley, and Fran Mickle, brought their friendship and talents, along with an innovative idea, together to create a combined art gallery and gift shop. Traditional art galleries consist of walls of paintings. It's up to an individual to imagine a piece of art in their home. Not everyone has the ability to visualize like that, so these ladies created a space to help!
How about a one-of-a-kind piece of art? Professional artist, Janie Umsted, houses her studio in the back of the shop and displays her pieces in the gallery. She is known for her Native American art and love of horses!
