Welborn Music has been
a proud member of the Durant Main Street Program since 1999. The
business began in the early 1920's as May Music. Subsequent names
included May-Wakefield, Wakefield, Welborn-Wakefield, and now Welborn.
Owner David Welborn takes sound and music seriously, as does his skilled staff of professional musicians and sound technicians.
Welborn's can supply
you with musical instruments, including guitars, drums, keyboards, and
pianos. They carry all the accessories to go with the instruments
as well as music and accompaniment tapes. They also carry a
complete line of top-brand PA systems.
An experienced repair technician is on staff.
And, they offer
lessons for a broad range of musical instruments.
Hours are 9-5:30
Monday through Friday and 9-5 Saturday.
