Shopping Spree Begins

Durant Main Street is looking forward to the drawing for their thirteenth annual Shopping Spree. The grand prize will be a $1500 Shopping Spree. Drawings will be also be held for a $100 gift certificates and many other prizes. Weekly drawings will be held to benefit those unable to attend the December 17 giveaway.
For each $10 spent at participating businesses through December 17, customers are allowed to complete a ticket to enter the drawing. Money spent to purchase Durant Main Street gift certificates and Durantopoly games are eligible for the drawing. Triple tickets will be given away at all businesses on December 5 during the Downtown Holiday. Thursday night shoppers will receive double tickets.
On Thursday, December 17, at 6:00 p.m., lucky winners will be drawn to receive the Shopping Sprees, jewelry, gift certificates, and many other items donated by local businesses. The giveaway will be held in the Market Square Parking Lot at First and Evergreen. In order to win on December 17, the individual must be present.
Shopping Spree tickets must be complete, and you should be sure the name, address, and phone number are legible in order for the ticket to be included in the drawing. Address labels are allowed, but only one name may appear on the label. For those with more than one name, choose one and mark the others out.
Participants include: Balloons-N-Stuff, Mackey Home Appliance, Bliss Boutique, Marie’s, Body Business/Nature’s Body Emporium, Old Ice House Salon & Day Spa, Bremar’s Variety Depot, Rick’s Boots, Casteel’s Tire, Roma Italian Restaurant, Corner Drug, Spring Hill Ranch, Curtis Jewelry, Sound Creations, Durant True Value Lumber, Take 2 Boutique, Foxy Roxy, The Hollow Tree, Furniture Direct, The Plaza, Head to Toe Dance Studio, The Umbrella, J. J. Mundi, and Lifespan Counseling. Some businesses will be open til 6 nightly and until 7 on Thursdays. For more information, please contact the Durant Main Street office at 580-924-1550.
