Shopping Spree Begins
2009-11-14 01:52:53Durant Main Street is looking forward to the drawing for their annual Shopping Spree. This year we will have weekly drawings just as we have in the past. Those drawings will begin November 11th and will be held on each Friday until December 13th when we will have our grand prize drawings. We will have 1-$1,000 spree, 2-$250 sprees, and 5-$100 sprees. Drawings will also be held for Main Street Discount Cards. Weekly drawings will be held to benefit those unable to attend the December 13th giveaway.
For each $10 spent at participating businesses through December 13th, customers are allowed to complete a ticket to enter the drawing. Money spent to purchase Durant Main Street gift certificates and Durantopoly games are eligible for the drawing. Triple tickets will be given away at all businesses on December 3rd during the Downtown Holiday. Thursday night shoppers will receive double tickets.
On Thursday, December 13, at 7:00 p.m., lucky winners will be drawn to receive the Shopping Sprees. The giveaway will be held in the Market Square Parking Lot at First and Evergreen. In order to win on December 13th, the individual must be present.
Shopping Spree tickets must be complete, and you should be sure the name, address, and phone number are legible in order for the ticket to be included in the drawing. Address labels are allowed, but only one name may appear on the label. For those with more than one name, choose one and mark the others out.
Participants include: Balloons-N-Stuff, Bliss Boutique, Body Business Day Spa, Bella Rose Salon, Curtis Jewelry, Durant True Value Lumber, Generations/A Merle Norman Studio, J.J. Mundi, Lifespan Counseling, Mackey Home Appliance, Marie’s, Roma Italian Restaurant, Take 2 Boutique, The Hollow Tree, The Umbrella, and Uncle Stew’s Guns & Ammo.
