Music on Market Square 2009 Finale
2009-09-20 22:24:55Durant Main Street is pleased to have Country Explosion back to end the season of Music on Market Square. The public is invited to the outdoor stage at First and Evergreen in Downtown Durant to hear good country music in a relaxed atmosphere. It will begin this Thursday night at 7 p.m.
Durant Main Street Program Manager Donna Dow is excited to have the popular band for the final night. “Country Explosion will continue a tradition set in our first two seasons of Music on Market Square. The band was the first and last band to perform in years one and two, and now they will complete year three.”
The popular band plays their brand of country music at Little D Jamboree every two weeks. The Jamboree is held at the Bryan County Community Building at the Fairgrounds.
Welton Tucker and the Country Explosion Band are already scheduled for next year for the first Thursday in May. Bookings are now being scheduled for June through September 2010, and suggestions are always welcome.
